Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program to Reward Collectors for Finding Top Sports Cards

Fanatics Collectibles, in partnership with Fanatics Live, is revolutionizing the world of sports card collecting with its newly launched program, ‘The Ten’. Drawing inspiration from popular lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted”, this innovative initiative showcases a dynamic selection of the top 10 sports cards in the market. Collectors who are fortunate enough to pull one of these cards on the Fanatics Live app will be rewarded with $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit, adding an extra level of excitement to the collecting experience.

‘The Ten’ program will feature a monthly rotation of cards, carefully chosen for their popularity and rarity. Among the cards highlighted in the inaugural list are the highly sought-after 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card and the yet-to-be-pulled 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card. These cards represent the pinnacle of collectibles, attracting collectors from all over the world.

The selection of cards in ‘The Ten’ program is a diverse mix of legendary athletes and rising stars. From NFL superstar Tom Brady and NBA sensation Steph Curry to MLB prospects Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe, and future NBA star Chet Holmgren, this program caters to collectors across different sports and brands. Cards from renowned brands such as Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman will all be featured, providing a wide array of options for collectors to explore.

James Kollar, senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed the program’s primary goal of enhancing the collecting experience for fans. The initiative is built on Fanatics’ commitment to giving back to collectors and the hobby as a whole. By allowing Fanatics Live participants and the collecting community to have a say in the monthly card selections, the program aims to foster community engagement and create a sense of inclusivity within the hobby.

In addition to celebrating the top sports cards, ‘The Ten’ program also serves as a platform to promote new products and reignite interest in existing releases. With the inclusion of chase cards, dealers and collectors have the opportunity to showcase these cards and generate excitement and discussion within the community. The program will feature pack and box breaks, as well as special shows, where major discoveries and upcoming cards will be announced. A dedicated webpage will also track the cards and their finders, adding to the overall narrative.

One unique aspect of ‘The Ten’ program is its focus on the stories behind the collectors and their finds. By highlighting these personal narratives, the program offers a compelling storytelling aspect that further deepens the connection between collectors and their favorite cards. This adds an extra layer of intrigue to the collecting experience, making it more than just a hobby but a shared passion among like-minded individuals.

Since its debut, Fanatics Live has experienced consistent growth, with an average watch time of 56 minutes. The platform has emerged as a community-focused space for collectors to connect, engage, and share their passion. James Kollar expressed his enthusiasm for the potential impact of ‘The Ten’ program on the Fanatics brand and the collector community, stating that it has the power to shape the future of sports card collecting.

In conclusion, Fanatics Live’s ‘The Ten’ program is set to revolutionize the sports card collecting industry. By highlighting the top 10 sports cards in the market and rewarding collectors with $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit, the program adds an extra layer of excitement and incentive to the hobby. With its focus on community engagement, storytelling, and promotion of new products, ‘The Ten’ is poised to become a significant milestone in the world of sports card collecting.
