Topps and NCAA Team Up for March Madness Card Series

Topps and the NCAA have joined forces to create a limited-edition trading card series celebrating the excitement and talent of college basketball’s March Madness. The exclusive collection showcases top athletes from both the men’s and women’s divisions, offering fans a chance to own a piece of basketball history.

Priced at $139.99 per pack, the March Madness series includes eight cards each, with a guaranteed autograph card from a standout player. Among the featured athletes are Zach Edey from Purdue, the men’s Player of the Year, and Caitlin Clark, the women’s Player of the Year. In addition to the autograph card, each pack contains six base cards and one parallel card numbered to 99 or fewer. Fans have until Thursday to purchase these special packs on Topps’ official website, with the exciting possibility of finding dual autograph cards in one out of every ten packs.

The roster of players included in the Bowman U NOW March Madness series is a select group of 20 athletes who have given their consent to be featured. For the men’s side, names like Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham from Kentucky, Tristen Newton and Stephon Castle from UConn, and Kyle Filipowski from Duke stand out. On the women’s side, stars such as Cameron Brink from Stanford, Aaliyah Edwards from UConn, and Angel Reese from LSU are featured prominently.

Notable dual autographs in the series include combinations like Clark/Edey, Clark/Reese, Reese/Van Lith, and Sheppard/Dillingham, adding an extra layer of excitement for collectors and fans alike.

Caitlin Clark’s appearance in the Topps card series will be limited due to her upcoming exclusive trading card agreement with Panini America, making this collection a must-have for fans of the talented Iowa athlete. By partnering with the NCAA, Topps has integrated the iconic March Madness branding into their products, paving the way for more joint projects in the future.

Throughout the season, Topps has released over 120 Bowman U cards on the Topps NOW platform, with a focus on featuring college basketball stars like Caitlin Clark. With 61 cards dedicated to showcasing college basketball talents, Topps has cemented its commitment to capturing the essence and spirit of college sports in its collector’s editions.

The collaboration between Topps and the NCAA not only offers fans a unique opportunity to own exclusive trading cards but also highlights the skill and excitement of college basketball. With a lineup of top athletes and limited-edition autographs, the March Madness card series is a collector’s dream come true for basketball enthusiasts everywhere.
