With a vast collection of over 3,600 lots, this event is a treasure trove for fans of baseball history and vintage memorabilia. From iconic baseball card sets to rare finds and unique pieces, this auction promises something special for every sports memorabilia aficionado.

The auction kicked off on Thursday and will run for an impressive ten days. Showcasing items that span the early days of baseball to the modern era of sports cards, the lineup is nothing short of spectacular. Among the standout pieces are gems like the T206 White Border Ty Cobb Bat Off Shoulder card from 1909-1911, featuring a rare Uzit back, and a Ty Cobb rookie card from the 1907 Wolverine News Postcard series.

Enthusiasts can also feast their eyes on vintage baseball sets such as the complete 1957 Topps set and the near-complete 1958 Topps set. Additionally, the auction boasts several high-grade cards from the 1950s Bowman and Topps sets, including rookie cards of legendary baseball figures like Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle, and Sandy Koufax. An exciting offer is the complete set break of the iconic 1951 Bowman set.

Beyond cards, the auction features intriguing memorabilia pieces like a ticket stub from the 1957 NFL Championship Game and a 1920 Real Photo Postcard of the Harvard football team that participated in the Rose Bowl, adding a unique touch to the collection.

REA President, Brian Dwyer, expressed his enthusiasm for the auction, highlighting the exceptional quality of the lots following the successful $15.4 million spring sale. Dwyer emphasized the strong demand among collectors and the premium nature of the items available for bidding, making this auction a must-visit for sports memorabilia enthusiasts.

For those eager to get their hands on these prized possessions, the auction will run until May 19 on the REA website. With each item starting at a modest bid of $10, this event not only provides a significant opportunity for collectors to acquire rare and high-end sports memorabilia but also serves as a platform to revel in the rich and storied history of sports collectibles. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or a newcomer to the world of sports memorabilia, this auction offers a chance to own a piece of sporting history and elevate your collection to new heights.
