Fanatics Collect Introduces New Buy Now Marketplace

Fanatics Collect has made a splash in the collectibles world with the introduction of its new Buy Now marketplace, designed to revolutionize the selling experience for collectors. This exciting launch comes with a promise of simplified fees that will significantly enhance seller earnings and benefit buyers looking to expand their collections.

One of the most notable changes in the new fee structure is the introduction of a competitive 6% fee for listings sold for less than $120. This lower rate is a game-changer in the industry and replaces the previous 20% buyer’s premium and bonus commission fees, making it much more profitable for sellers to list their items on the platform.

For sellers, the new fee structure ensures that they will earn the same amount on sales of $120 or more as they did before, while also allowing them to pocket up to 94% of the listing price on sales under $119.99. This is a significant increase from the previous maximum of 85% and is sure to have a positive impact on seller earnings right from the start. The transition to the new fee structure will be seamless, with all current listings automatically moving over without the need for sellers to make any adjustments to their prices.

The redesigned Buy Now marketplace aims to improve the visibility of cards, streamline the listing process, and simplify fees based on feedback from both collectors and sellers. By removing the 20% buyer’s premium and bonus commission, Fanatics Collect is incentivizing sellers to offer more competitively priced listings, which in turn enhances the variety and quality of options available to buyers.

To ensure fairness and competitiveness, listings that are priced more than 20% above fair market value will incur a 15% seller’s fee instead of the standard 6%. Moreover, the platform has done away with the previous $3 minimum fee for Buy Now sales, allowing sellers to list items for as little as 50 cents, catering to a broader range of sellers and items.

In addition to the reduced fees, the new Buy Now marketplace also promises faster transactions. Collectors making purchases through the Fanatics Collect app will pay immediately, enabling sellers to receive their payments promptly and allowing buyers to enrich their collections without delay.

Sellers who may not want to sell under the new fee structure have the flexibility to delist their items at any time. For those needing support, assistance is available from their sales representative or the Collector Experience team.

The launch of the Buy Now marketplace is a substantial step in the overall Fanatics Collect initiative, aimed at improving the buying and selling experiences for all collectors involved. Navigate to the platform today to explore the new marketplace and leverage the reduced, simplified fees to maximize your earnings on every sale!
