Leaf’s Baseball Card Sets Feature Autographs and Top Prospects

Leaf Trading Cards has recently unveiled two highly anticipated baseball card sets that are sure to excite collectors and fans alike. The upcoming releases from Leaf will spotlight an array of prospect autographs, including the debut professional cards for many of the 2024 MLB Draft picks.

Leaf Metal, slated for launch on October 25, will come in Hobby and Jumbo Box formats. The Hobby Box comprises seven cards, featuring four autographs, two base/parallel cards, and an exclusive “mojo auto.” Meanwhile, the Jumbo Box contains 14 cards, with eight autographs, four base/parallel cards, a Jumbo Box-exclusive “pulsar auto,” and a unique “slabbed auto proof.” All autographs and base parallel cards in Leaf Metal will be limited to just 35 copies or fewer.

An exciting chase card in this set is a triple autograph featuring the top three picks of the 2024 MLB Draft: Travis Bazzana, Charlie Condon, and Chase Burns. Notable 2024 draftees like Nick Kurtz, Hagen Smith, and Konnor Griffin will also have their autographs included. Moreover, Baseball America’s top-ranked prospect, Roman Anthony, makes an appearance, with a card featured in the nostalgic “91 Leaf” insert set. The lineup further boasts top prospects such as Chase Dollander, Dylan Crews, and Coby Mayo, as well as potential future stars like Ethan Holliday, and recent graduates like Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and James Wood.

Leaf Press Pass Premium is set to debut on November 8, offering collectors premium cards in high-quality boxes. Each box will contain six base cards and parallels, including five autographs, with one autograph per box numbered to 25 or less. The series features a 100-card base set and a 100-card retro base set, both with eight parallels limited to 35 copies or fewer.

Autographs from 2024 draft prospects such as Bazzana, Condon, Kurtz, Smith, and Burns will be a highlight, along with appearances from future prospects like Ethan Holliday. Veteran stars like Mookie Betts, Ichiro, and Nolan Ryan are also set to be featured in this collection. Autographs in the base set are limited to 199 or fewer, while retro base autographs are capped at 49 or fewer. The release will also showcase a special “Press Box Signatures” insert, with names like John Smoltz, Jim Rome, and Vin Scully making an appearance.

Both Leaf Metal and Leaf Press Pass Premium will be available for purchase on Leaf’s official website and at major card retailers. These sets promise to bring a stellar lineup of talent to collectors, from exciting rookies to legendary veterans, making them a must-have addition to any baseball card collection.
